My mother and I were visiting my daughter who is a student at SCAD. After a wonderful outing to the High Museum we lunched at Table 1280. My daughter and I ordered a cocktail - The 1280 Signature - which was absolutely perfect. For lunch we had the veggie burger and handcut chips. I have never had such a delicious veggie burger in my life. All the ingredients were fresh and melded together for a palate pleasing heavenly taste. Our service was top notch.

Terrific buzz, super food particularly the salmon bites, fish and chips and shepards pie, great to find a such a good Irish bar in Atlanta.

Excellent food, wonderful friendly manager and host (not so much the server) at a reasonable price, especially considering in the Arts Complex. Try the flank steak salad. Seriously.

I feel very conflicted about how to review this restaurant. We were visiting family in Atlanta and decided to stop here for a late lunch after visiting the High. We walked in and saw it was not crowded so felt confident they could take our group of 5 adults and one infant. We were immediately asked by the young man at the desk if we had a reservation. We said we did not and were then informed in a supercilious tone, &quot;It is recommended that you make a reservation here.&quot; We asked, &quot; So, can we get a table?&quot; With a sneer and eye-roll at the baby, he sighed, &quot;Let me see&quot;. We were shown to a large table almost immediately. Things looked up with our waitstaff. They were at least friendly and did not seem horrified with a baby in their midst. We were brought menus and water, but no offer of a drink was made. I had the Seared Ahi Tuna Salad which was good. The Tuna was rare and tender and fresh with a nice sweet hoisin sauce drizzled over it. The greens were crisp and fresh, but nothing spectacular. The Tuna was what made the dish. Others in our group had the Maine Lobster Roll. This had no resemblance to the iconic New England treat. The roll was huge and sweet; not the authentic hot dog bun. The filling had a generous amount of real lobster, but the dressing was too sweet and runny and the addition of lettuce and avocado and tomato ruined the authenticity of it. The service overall was slow and we waited forever to have someone take our payment. They baby was quiet and slept through most of the meal so did not disturb any of the other patrons.

We attempted to enjoy dinner before the symphony, but to no avail. The hostess and manager informed us we would only be served drinks because they were so behind on their tickets. Service for our drinks were slow, the manager was very rude and I would discourage anyone from eating here for a pre-symphony show. What we did get served was drinks with a bountiful helping of Attitude. Discraceful!
